When does CEQA compliance need to be submitted?

We have completed 65% design on a fish passage project. Is 100% design eligible?

For the Implementation Project category - does the project need to demonstrate CEQA compliance? For example, if the proposal includes preliminary design and engineering, but CEQA has not been completed.

How should we approach community engagement for projects that span greater than a regional scale?

What is the FUNDING timeline: If a project is funded, when can one expecting funding to be in place, and how long?

We have an upcoming project with another agency that is funded through Prop 68 that is relevant to our proposal here. To what extent is it appropriate to build on that project?

Can project focus on study region include but broader than California ?

For the CEQA analysis question, while Prop 68 funds cannot fund any permitting analysis, I encourage you to check out our solicitation on page 7 under “Environmental Documents and Permitting”. CDFW has an exciting new program that provides CEQA statutory exemption for fish and wildlife restoration projects that meet certain requirements. More information can be found in this section!

The term “50% match” implies that if requesting $1M one would need to have $500k; but you just said it means a match of $1M, which I would call 100% match

My faculty do lots of technical support (ecological, geomorphological, GIS, socioeconomic impact measurement, etc.) for community- and agency-based projects across the state.
